WDC in San Francisco - Women Reclaiming and Reshaping SF's Eastern Waterfront Sunday Nov 2 – 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM

WDC had an immersive program of insider presentations and tours exploring the city's eastern waterfront where an empty expanse of rail yards and parking lots is being transformed into thriving residential, business, campus research, and sports/entertainment hubs. We heard from the developers, designers and entrepreneurs who are shaping a dynamic mixed-income community through intentional design, bold planning and innovative public private partnerships. Our program was hosted by Mercy Housing California at its award winning Sister Lillian Murphy Community and featured its President, Tiffany Bohee and the City and County of San Francisco's Director of Real Estate, Sally Oerth. Other dynamic women development leaders included: Genevieve Cadwalader of Prologis, Charmaine Curtis of Curtis Development, Kristen Hall of KHCD, Roselie Ledda of PTA, and Terezia Nemeth of Nemson LLC.

Many thanks to our program hosts Mercy Housing and 400 China Basin, and special thanks to our coordinators and volunteers!
