October 27, 2024 at 2:45 PM ET: WDC in Las Vegas Chinatown– Transformative Development in Changing Neighborhoods

WDC’s Las Vegas program began on Sunday afternoon 10/27 with a tea reception in the heart of historic Chinatown at Pot Master Wagyu Bites. We featured presentations by women development leaders who are enriching and transforming neighborhoods across the Las Vegas region and US. We then toured through Chinatown to meet diverse women retailers and cap off the evening with lively conversations over dinner.

October 28, 2024 at 8:30 AM ET: WDC in Downtown Las Vegas– Creating Vibrant Urban Places for All 

We began Monday’s 10/28 WDC program with a continental breakfast catered by Mothership at the International Innovation Center in downtown Las Vegas. We featured presentations by women leaders who enliven downtowns, retail centers, and neighborhoods, creating dynamic places to live, work, and play. We then headed to the stunning rooftop terrace on the 60th floor of the Circa Resort and Casino to learn about development across the downtown and region. We finished our program with a downtown tour ending up at the unique Downtown Container Park and Fergusons Downtown

November 20, 2024 at 7:30 PM ET: Holiday Party with Dynamic Women Retailers

We had lively conversations with women retailers– Stacey Price of Shop Made in DC and Marlene Quan of Sips Global Teas from Alameda Marketplace who shared their inspirational retail journeys and unique holiday gift ideas. We broke into small groups for more intimate conversations. The program featured cocktail and mocktail recipes with teas and beverages curated by Bottle Bacchanal.  We all enjoyed toasting the holidays and our amazing WDC community together!

January 29, 2025 At 1:00 PM ET: Look back, Look Ahead

We kicked off 2025 with dynamic conversations facilitated by Cara Houser about all that we’ve collectively accomplished and look ahead to how we can build the life and the world that we imagine.

February 5, 2025 At Noon ET: Investment Roundtable for Accredited Investors

We learned how MURAL Real Estate Partners, a full service real estate company, develops and invests in mixed use projects that create strong income-producing properties in emerging growth markets.

March 18, 2025 At 6:30 PM PT: Celebrate Women’s History Together

A wonderful group of women gathered for dinner on March 18 at 6:30 PM in downtown San Francisco.We shared and celebrated our collective achievements and those of women past, present and future!

WDC’s first 2025 interactive forum featured Holly Ruxin and Molly McCabe who explored the importance of real estate as a strategy to diversify investment portfolios to build wealth and plan for retirement.

April 23, 2025 At Noon ET: Room of Our Own: Knowledge Forum on AI & Tech Tools

This interactive forum featured Iliana Niculescu-Roman and Dicko Ba who explore dhow to use technology and AI tools to expedite and elevate your work and real estate projects.

April 29, 2025 At 6:30 PM PT: Celebrate Women in Housing and Development

A wonderful group of women gathered for dinner on April 29 at 6:30 PM in downtown San Francisco. They shared conversations over dinner with dynamic women from various development backgrounds.

May 11, 2025 At 2:30 PM MT: Women Building on Dana Crawford’s Downtown Legacy

Featuring women who are building on her legacy to preserve and enrich downtown Denver’s historic fabric.

May 12, 2025 At 1:00 PM MT: Women Transforming Denver and Auraria

Featuring women who are forging creative partnerships to enliven and rebuild Downtown Denver, the Auraria Campus and nearby neighborhoods. 

May 28, 2025 At Noon ET: Room of Our Own: Knowledge Forum on Construction

WDC’s interactive Knowledge Forum featured Chrissie Davis of INCORAGE General Contractors, Rebecca Möller of SYMBiHOM and Kayla Nassar of American Construction Company, which was moderated by Kaitlin McCarthy of Ionic Development Company. These construction experts presented proven strategies to drive efficiency and manage construction costs in these uncertain times. This forum featured practical tips and tools (including AI tools) that you and your colleagues can use to achieve successful projects.
