The SF Kelsey Civic Center Tour

We had a unique tour of The Kelsey Civic Center, a disability forward, low carbon community of 112 households in the heart of San Francisco. We learned how The Kelsey works as a co-developer with best-in-class developers like Mercy Housing to build mixed-income, mixed-ability communities where people with and without disabilities can live independently, in community, in homes they can afford. We heard the inside story from Louisa Bukiet and Fiona Ruddy about the development's groundbreaking inclusive design features and how this project leveraged innovative sources of capital and captured unrealized land value.
