October 24, 2025 At 12:30 PM ET: Project Forum: Power in Partnership – Advancing South Bronx TOD
Discover the power of partnerships to catalyze successful projects while helping the award-winning community developer, Majora Carter, achieve her ambitious South Bronx development:
– Phase 1: Bronxlandia– Transformation of Amtrak’s Hunt’s Point train depot into a community gathering space with retail (nearing construction).
– Phase 2: Hunts Point Heights– A transit oriented land assemblage to be rezoned and developed into multifamily, hotel, retail, and micro-industrial space next to the new Metro-North station at Hunts Point.
Our expert panel, moderated by attorney and developer, Bernice Yu, will share their experience with how to find the right partner and structure powerful agreements. They will provide insights into how to leverage partnerships to secure entitlements, leverage capital and achieve mixed use and mixed income projects. Our esteemed panel includes real estate investment advisor, Merrie Frankel, attorney Caroline Harris, developer Jenny Wu, and development/investment executive Monique Henley.
This event is part of our WDC Project Forum series, designed to support women developers and catalyze women-led developments.
